Lidl stores had long struggled with damage to electronic shelf label rails caused by impacts from shopping carts. Since no solution on the market could prevent this damage, we developed a custom-made, unique solution.
We designed bumpers that reliably protect the shelf label rails from damage. The entire development process – from the initial concept to the final product – was completed within two months.
The bumpers are made of durable iron, and their universal design allows them to be used on various types of stands. Installation is extremely simple – just a screw and a nut are needed. Thanks to their clean and discreet design, they do not disturb the visual appearance of the shelves and require no maintenance.
From 6 tons of iron, we produced 80,000 test bumpers, primarily for the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Austria. Testing took place directly in stores, where we received positive feedback.
